@ebonyshamar: I almost didn't post this update, but here's where my skin is now ☝🏽If you watched my first video closely, you probably already noticed my skin had started improving between filming at home and my dermatologist appointment. At my one-month follow-up, he told me that a lot of what I'm seeing now is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, meaning the dark marks are leftover from the inflammation and should continue to fade with time and consistency. He's also ordering blood work to look into whether gluten or dairy could be contributing to what's been going on with my skin. For now, we're sticking with the current treatment plan, and staying gluten and dairy free just in case! Thank you all for following along and sharing your own experiences.
