I remember learning in nursing school that those with compromised immune systems flowers/plants are a risk due to the bacteria in the soil. Praying for a speedy recovery ❤️

Thankfully I have a black thumb and kill every plant I get. I currently have 1 small plant that I’ve had since December and it’s doing fine, but I’m sure I’ll end up giving it to my mom to save at some point (she has the greenest of green thumbs).

microbiologist here! P. aeruginosa smells like grapes/grape candy so if you smell that on your plants then toss it out
