Saaaame girl. Hysterectomy was the best thing I ever did. Took 10 years of begging though. And when they went in they had to remove my uterus from my rectum because they fused together because of the endo 🙃

i just had my hysterectomy in may. i work at a college and have summer break, so the true test of whether this improved anything will be when I have to go back to work next month 🤞 mine was mostly GI symptoms that would get exponentially worse during my cycle. I'm so exhausted for all of us, it's always this same story over and over again of doctors not believing us or taking us seriously.
...... also, is that a shinee tattoo?!?!? 👀💎💎💎💎💎

I have endo, adeno and fibroids. My gynaecologist said they'd happily give me a hysterectomy but I'm scared. I don't want to go through menopause this young and I'm worried that I won't be able to tolerate HRT.

I struggled with PCOS for most of my life and told all the doctors it was more than that and as I got older and researched more, kept suggesting endo. Then at 43, they accidentally found it doing a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SURGERY NOT RELATED TO ANY OF THAT and 10 weeks later after I healed enough, was right back in the OR for a hysterectomy. All of this because women aren't worth studying properly? Why are we so angry? Easy. Because we'd rather be believed than be vindicated after decades of preventable suffering.

My hysterectomy is the beginning of next month. I’m so ready. Thankfully mine endometriosis showed up on my MRI or else I probably wouldn’t have been able to get my cyst removed and tubes removed. Seeing a specialist now to get my endometriosis removed with my hysterectomy. My mom didn’t know she had it until after 6 kids and she almost ☠️from a period for 6 months and had an emergency hysterectomy.

I got my cycle at 11 and fibroids all my life until I had my hysterectomy at 37. Then they found the endometriosis at 43. I just had laparoscopy surgery this past Thursday to remove endometriosis from my ovaries and pelvic cavity. I’m 44. I had to switch OBGYNs to get this surgery done.

I have been asking for one since I was 22, painful periods started when I was 12. Go it done early July at age 38. Recovery is hard but cannot be as hard as the monthly period pain and accompanying side effects.

I hope you are ok now. It’s terrible how women have to fight for their rights to proper healthcare. Sending love xx

I’m beyond thankful for my OB I had when symptoms started. I went to his office and explained what I was experiencing. Right away he said I think you have endometriosis but the only way to diagnose it it surgery. I said let’s do it. I was diagnosed with stage 3. I had other OB issues and he always listened and had a plan and followed through with everything. He was a godsend. I was extremely sad when he moved out of state.

My first period was when I was 10, also elementary, and bread heavy for one month steady. next one was at 13 and long but not cray cray. Pelvic nerves might be messed up because I didn't start having pelvic pain until 26ish.... the found stage 4 endo at 29.

Oh I’m so happy it came through for you. I can’t imagine how hard it was to get the doctors on your side. Especially in the states.
