@jheflin17: Every dad wants to provide. But most of us want something that you can't buy back... Dinners together, bedtime stories, and Saturdays that don't belong to overtime. I know that feeling because I lived it. I wasn't asking God to make life easy. I was asking Him for wisdom to provide for my family without giving them what was left of me at the end of another long day. I stopped looking for another job and started learning a new skill. A way to work around my family instead of being away all the time. For our family, that became digital partnering. No inventory. No shipping. No packing boxes after the kids went to bed. Just learning a skill little by little during the time I already had. Still took consistency and effort, but it finally felt like I was building something instead of just surviving. The Bible says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." (Colossians 3:23) That's still true whether you're swinging a hammer, driving a truck, or learning a new skill on your phone after the kids are asleep.
