@mseduakator: Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is rest. ❤️‍🩹🍏🫶🏼✏️✨ That was one of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn this week. I wanted so badly to come work all weekend. I convinced myself I’d feel better if I just kept going. But the people who love me most reminded me that I didn’t need another work day… I needed REST. Looking back now, they were absolutely right. I came back this week with a clearer mind, a lighter heart, and a little more grace for myself. This journey has been about so much more than decorating a classroom. It’s been about rebuilding my confidence. Learning to quiet the voice of anxiety with the truth of God’s promises. Learning to celebrate progress instead of perfection. Learning that I don’t have to earn rest. And learning that every new season will stretch you before it settles you. Last week, I had to remind myself almost every single day: You are ready. You belong here. God didn’t bring you this far to leave you now. Anxiety may be loud sometimes… But God’s faithfulness has always been louder. So here’s to a fresh week. Fresh grace. Fresh perspective. And another opportunity to become the teacher—and the woman—God is calling me to be. One day at a time. One prayer at a time.
