You really don’t have to be creative at all. Simply telling them that you do not want to be there is usually enough for them to dismiss you.

Problem with jury duty is nobody wants to be there. Maybe pay them a good amount of money and they can actually do a good job. Not just think oh I want to go home and work. This is taking my PTO so I can feed my family

Jury duty should be optional when you apply for it on your license similar to saying you want to be an organ donor. lots of people will still want to serve there will be no shortage and at least those people will be willing and in a more focused headspace because they signed up for it compared to someone you're forcing.

If you are an LEO or married to one you don’t have to do jury duty in my area… but they don’t care if you’re a dispatcher, Fire, or EMS… but they proceed to ask you why you know every law-enforcement officer in the room and if you trust their word… yeah I trust their word cause I trust them to have my back not to say that they didn’t make a mistake or anything like that… jury duty should honestly just be a job at this point… we should get rotated through the types of cases to help prevent jadedness…
