When I was going through a tough situation, I prayed so hard that my situation would change. I prayed and read that Bible EVERY SINGLE DAY NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY. And I really thought my life wasn't getting better because I had little faith 😭😂 I quickly realised that the power to change my circumstances rest solely in my own damn hands

This is exactly how it happened for me. Believe me I tried to go back to when things were simpler. But once it clicks, you can’t “unclick” it. The only way I can describe it is like my life was on autopilot, or that someone else had the reins because I was asleep. And then I suddenly woke up!

I’m sooo much happier now that I’m no longer religious too! I just wish I could connect with more like-minded ppl or those open to fair philosophical discussions b/c it seems like I’m surrounded by radical religious ppl only. Especially, off of social media 😩😞 It’s exhausting
