This is extremely alarming to find out that Icbc will be giving away licenses to people that can’t pass the second or third tests. Just wait for all the accidents and tickets to come.

Thank goodness cause I am just about to go for my road test in like 2 weeks. Whether I get my N or restricted class 5 license does not matter to me! I just want my license so I can drive!

Just saying I would never buy a webcam or install icbc software onto my computer to take a test at home. Not that I’m young enough to worry about this.

So now you can take the Learners test online(anyone can break the rules and take the test for you at that point) then you don’t even need to show your face or read english while being a legal driver on our roads . This is insane

To those saying it’s harder… you know how many people get their license and then take transit for 2 years because they can’t afford/don’t need a car… so 2 years later, no experience or tickets… now they have a full license? 😂👍 Sure.

Do people not realise this is way harder ? To keep a completely clean record for 2 years straight is impossible with how ticket happy these cops are. . . For EX. When I was a class 7, I was at a yellow taking a left, and the cop was ahead of me taking a right turn. However once the light turns yellow, it becomes a stop sign for the right turner, and the left turner has the right of way. I went before the cop ON THE YELLOW, and she pulled me over and had a hissy fit about why I didn’t wait for her and gave me a ticket 🤡

So now you have to do 12 month of an L 24 months of an N and than ANOTHER 12 months of a restricted class five license. Wow four years IF you get zero penalty’s

I have been driving with an N for 8 years, passed my road test in a manual vehicle at age 52. Since getting my N no accidents or tickets. So I deserve to not need a second test as I have been driving safely and have gained even more experience to earn my class 5.
