The beautiful thing about leaving home is that it teaches you how much it means to come back. I’ve spent a lot of my life chasing stages around the world, but nights like last night in Québec City remind me that no audience feels quite like a Canadian audience. Looking into your faces felt familiar. It felt comforting. It felt like being surrounded by family. Thank you for reminding me where I come from, and for welcoming me home with open arms every single time. What a beautiful country. What beautiful people. My heart is very, very full today. Voir vos visages m'a semblé familier. Quel beau pays. Quelles belles personnes. Mon cœur est comblé aujourd'hui. ❤️ 🇨🇦

How to have a body odour conversation… Never an easy conversation to have, but sometimes necessary. There are many reasons someone might smell of body odour, for example medical issues, hormonal changes, menopause, religious practices, stress or they simply may not realise. Here’s a respectful 4-step structure to approach this kind of conversation: 1️⃣ Ask for permission. Let them know you need to raise something sensitive and check if now is a good time 2️⃣ Share your intention. Make it clear you’re coming from a place of care, not criticism 3️⃣ Raise the issue kindly. This could sound like: “I’ve noticed sometimes you’ve been smelling of body odour recently, I know there can be all sorts of reasons behind this, so first and foremost I wanted to check if you’re ok?” Avoid saying that others have raised it, as this can feel shaming and isolating. 4️⃣ Offer support. They may not need it, but you can judge this depending on how they respond. Often this is all that needs to be said. 💬 Have you ever had to have this conversation or been on the other side of it? Share your experiences in the comments. 📌 Please remember the advice offered in this video is generalised and will not fit every situation. Therefore, please use your own judgement when using this advice and adapt it to suit your situation. ➕ Follow for more tips on navigating tricky work dynamics #worktips #difficultconversations #managingpeople #emotionalintelligence #communicationskills
