I agree with most of what you’re saying but liberals by any definition are right wing. Liberalism has things that those on the left value, but ultimately its fundamental political meaning comes with maintaining broken/unjust systems. Also socialism before Marx was entirely different and even during Marx. It’s not until Lenin or Luxembourg do we actually start to apply that. It’s not utopian either, having read any Marx would tell you that’s not what he believed. It was inevitable if humans wish to survive.

That part. I also often feel that this ideological typecasting is preventing pragmatic solutions that honor people humanity from succeeding. An insistence that a solution has to fit into an ideological framework or aesthetic (broad definition) is getting in the way of just solving problems.

They want people to take sides instead of seeing the bigger picture, they want to segregate because there is power in unity and unless your pinned against each other, you’d realise there’s more people with right ideology on all sides, and wring ones in ur own sides.

As I learned in 10th grade History class, “liberal” and “conservative,” in the political context, were originally adjectives used to describe whether a party member wanted to change institutions and progress towards evolved outcomes (liberal) versus those who wanted to maintain the status quo (conservative). And, nothing has fundamentally changed about those descriptors.

I am not very deep into the theory. I know that voting against Trump and his party is good, and anyone encouraging you to not vote against Trump and his party is bad. I also know that the republican or the democrat will win in any statewide general election, so vote accordingly.
