I have a great deal of respect for the director, and it’s undeniably a visual spectacle but not one that speaks to the soul. That disappoints me. This isn’t really a film about The Odyssey. It leaves out the story’s central themes and ideas, while adding too many things that feel unnecessary and ultimately pointless. I’m especially disappointed that some of the most iconic episodes of The Odyssey have been so radically altered. It’s beautiful to look at, but it left me with nothing except a bitter aftertaste.(vi consiglio prima di andarlo a vedere di leggere l’opera ,anche un libro per bambini va bene ,e capirete di cosa parlo)
