I get Alice in wonderland syndrome, mostly in bed while falling asleep. I thought this was a normal thing everyone had until recently and didn't realize it was linked with my migraines. My daughter also has it.

Nasal congestion and insomnia are two constants for my prodrome. Netti pot and normal decongestants won’t work, ONLY afrin.

I didn’t realize till recently that the bruised feeling on my scalp is a migraine symptom … like it’s as if I have a goose egg on my head or I’ve had my hair in a tight ponytail but I haven’t & nothing is there!!

The yawning omg. Non stop yawning and the slightest bit of head pressure change, like my head is getting squished by a headband thats too tight. Also...I get a lot of gas buildup in my gut but doesn't feel like it can um...release

i think this is a little more obviously migraine but the biggest thing for me is struggling to get my brain to connect to my mouth. like i can talk, but i jumble my words easily and its a physical struggle to move my mouth sometimes. pain usually starts a few hours later

Smelling strong smells that no one else smells. (Yes I've had a recent MRI amd CT scan of my head - no tumors or lesions in my brain).

spots in my eyes that legitimately just,,,, were blind spots. and i dont mean usual blind spots like someones behind you, i mean IN MY EYELINE, blind spots. its only happened a few times but shit's scary af.

my hands go numb, or I stumble over words, get foggy and confused. I know how bad its going to be by how bad those symptoms get. or my eye will white out.

Girllll I’m learning everyday 😭 I get aura migraines without pain: blurry vision, zigzag ring in my vision, weakness, 2x I’ve had numbness on my face and parts of my limbs went numb…basically I had a mimic stroke caused by a migraine docs said (similar to absent seizures) again no pain at all! Crazy!! All from a migraine 🤕

One weird symptom I’ve noticed hours before a migraine is sensory over sensitivity like my hair hurts or clothes are too restrictive. Then light is just a little too bright.

How long the reflection of light stays in my eyes eh from car windows. If it’s bugging me I know I’m going to get one window is a couple of days. Otherwise that light doesn’t get me at all.

phantoms smells. for me it's usually either the smell of smoke or very strong ammonia. disgusting but it gives me several hours warning most of the time

Phantom smells are big for me. If I smell campfire for no reason I know something is coming.

Fog, dizziness, forgetting words entirely, and craving things I usually don’t like. Then the aura sets in closer to the pain. I thought the foods were triggers for so long 🤦🏻♀️
