As someone who has lost 70 pounds through diet and exercise, I can tell you that food noise is one of the hardest parts to overcome. I don’t believe it’s simply a force of habit or a lack of willpower. I distract myself to stop thinking about food once I’ve reached my daily calories, even when I’m not physically hungry. It’s exhausting and I truly believe this deserves much more study.
