Umm let’s normalize being a mom and knowing the truth. My daughter ABSOLUTELY screams and cries till I come in the room, then proceeds to giggle and say hi mama. Sometimes babies want their mamas but don’t need them. This was just an accident, it happens lol

Letting children „cry it out“ is scientifically proven to harm their mental health and give them issues when growing up. Also they will associate sleep with negativity so they will sleep even less.

This is why I dont let my babys cry it out. I always say, when a baby cries, its for a reason. Its the only way they can communicate something thats hurting them. 🥺

This is why cry it out isn’t optimal. What if they’re crying because something is wrong? Just never sit right with me to let my baby cry for more than 2 minutes

No parent it perfect and it was just coincidence that happened that night you tried something new. Sometimes kids do need to cry and letting her learn to soothe herself is a good practice. YOUR DOING GREAT MAMA!

for those who are saying the cry it out method is bad and the worst thing ever don’t realize you are allowed to have time for yourself and YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BAD PARENT!!!! if your child is fed, bathed, clean diaper, been played with all day, and showed all the love you MOST CERTAINLY can let them cry it out! it does not make them think of you any less. kids are meant to learn how to self soothe at some point so let them!!!! because half of the adults who didnt have to cry it out don’t know how to self soothe.

trust vs mistrust is the first stage of their psychosocial development. please don't let babies cry it out, it teaches them not to trust you to provide their needs. better to be consistent to build trust and soothe them when you miss cues
