I remember when I was on a train in Korea. I was only 12 years old. I was wearing a skirt, since my legs was hairy (just a little) and have a dark knees. While I was just a standing, a woman that is a Korean. Two of them. They were laughing, and I heard that one of them took a picture. I don't know if they took a picture of my knees, or my legs. But it made me very overthink, today I still feel very insecure of my body. This also happened to my face

As a Korean, I’m so tired of all this. Yes, Korea has a horrible suicide rate and an unhealthy obsession with beauty and a lot of bad bad society problems. But why can’t you guys accept that these problems exist all over the world? Beauty standards are literally different everywhere, and every country has its own beauty standards and obsession with them. And what about racism? Did you guys ever talk about racism when Koreans are killed by racism in other countries? So many Korean celebrities experience racism, yet people just believe “it’s because they have a eating disorder so they have bad breath smells.” Things are getting so weird… Please stop acting like all these problems only exist in one country…. You guys already did same things to the US and Japan too

this is a reality in every other country not just Korea in my country when a mom sees a girl that looks good they ask her to marry her son immediately even if they don't know each other yet and that's so sad for me bcz it happened to my friend and she cried a lot she was forced to love him.
