The majority of animals are killed humanely, and without pain, especially in the modern world, animals also contain essential nutrients for us to survive, that vegetarian and vegan diets tend to lack. Omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, calcium, vitamin B12, iron, and especially protein and creatine. You can choose to be vegan, or vegetarian, but at the end of the day there is no change of numbers of how much livestock is harvested for food every year.

I agree that the meat packing industry is disgusting, but that doesn’t mean we should stop doing what our bodies are literally meant to do. We are supposed to eat meat, but it should be ethically sourced and animals should not suffer.

Yeah the meat processing industry is terrible. would I like to see better regulations for the meat industry yes. Will I continue to eat meat yes.

Yes like I eat meat but I don’t like the meat industry and I don’t think I fully be vegan and monitor my diet so closely but I want to move toward WAY less meat consumption.

I understand, not eating meat from the industry, but eating it from a local farmers market should be fine if they are raised properly and humanely because that the natural way to get meat and is fine thats the food chain
