Heating pad, Gas X, Stay on top meds that 1st few days postop. Start Stool softners and Miralax right after. Im 7 weeks out. You got this. I also fasted the day prior.

I am sitting here recovering right now. if you are having laproscopic my number one suggestion is stock up on peppermint tea, and a lot of gas x. the gas pain is by far the worst part!! luckily it only last for a few days for me. best of luck with your surgery!!

One year post op last month; 1000% recommend! Gas X, heating pad is what I lived with for the first like 3 weeks, you’ll be a lot sorer then you expect. Take it easy, you can only heal once! You’ll do great!!

I take a hot Epsom salt bath every day and I’m bummed that I have to wait a bit after my cholecystectomy. It totally didn’t occur to me that it would be so long! I’m really hoping to heal well so I can get back to baths faster. Glad you can still use a sauna etc.
