How can I get more forward growth ? My tongue is so large, I get no peace. I’m always tongue thrusting. Interestingly enough my second ortho is saying that my tongue is going to be like the retainer which will reduce upper teeth retraction. Thoughts ?

My dentist said she needs to assess whether palatal expansion is appropriate because expanding my palate could potentially cause my bite to no longer fit properly. Is that true? For most people, does palatal expansion result in a stable, functional bite? I have a crossbite and a small palate.

I'm getting braces in 10 months and the orthodontists only took a look at my 2d xray and just said come back 10 monthsby later and do they often check gum or bone before they do the brace thing and in the 2d xray my incisors and front tooth roots looked close and I think my incisors tilted and might have been touching the front tooth root cause of the pressure from the abnormal erupted premolar what concerns do I have? I have wide palate and don't have overbite or underbite
