I have to disagree…if the Color Purple was cast with white people, the story would have been lost. The Odyssey is a Greek story and the American accents and appearances just don’t work.

my son loves mythology and was on about going to see it and I was like yeah we can go then he informs me Christopher Nolan directed it, he could have started with that. grab your stuff we are going right now lol people need to separate fiction from real life, people need to separate Disney's they live happy ever after, from real life. none of it happens in real life and especially not to me
