Got depression, insomnia, new baby hairs were growing vertically from the dryness, started getting WEIRD TEXTURED WAVY BLACK HAIRS even tho i have a straight blonde hair…, extremely dry sensitive skin, face so dull and lifeless, idk abt the nose shrinkage but the dullness and the lifeness will take away all ur looks, the only pro is my skin and hyperpigmentation all went away face and back its been since 2.5 years since i stopped taking it and i dont get the cystic pimples that i used to have but still struggling with my hair to this day

skin gets insanely dry, mouth gets insanely dry, lips crack, corners of your mouth tear every time you eat / speak. skin gets UV burnt super easily. even if you wax it will accidentally take off a massive layer of skin.

Acutane is a pill for acne. If you don't have severe acne, do not use it. It can cause severe issues—such as causing infertility, negatively impacting your organs, leaving you with really dry skin/lips, and causing severe pain in your joints.

the cons are you become incredibly dry extremely easily, and your hair ALSO becomes especially dry, which can lead to excessive breakage/shedding and your hair might even thin/fall out

After being on accutane since October, the hair thing is true, the black heads is also true, not sure about the nose shrinking though I’ve always had a smaller nose, texture disappearing is true my skin was very smooth and soft. Some cons I had was: worsen eyesight, horrible horrible lower back pain, lips so dry that not even Vaseline worked and the corners of my mouth would rip like joker (iykyk) other than those few cons I haven’t had a single break out since starting. For anyone wondering about scars, accutane doesn’t help that but there are other treatments!!
