It’s because we grew up with constant trauma. We’re always waiting for the ball to drop because for us as a generation It has been constant- 9/11, multiple wars, Economic collapse, pandemic, etc. We can’t enjoy the present because we’ve all been conditioned that good things don’t last and it’s only going to get worse.
