both sides are wrong. i understand an accidental use of wrong pronouns, but personally doing it is wrong too. The lady is wrong with how they reacted, of course it can be frustrating but you need to strong.

I do wonder this. regardless of what the opinions were from the police officer etc, why not simply use whatever pronoun is preferred to help deescalate the situation.

Theyre absolutely doing way too much. This is absolutely insane. I do agree that it’s not that hard to use the correct pronouns but they could’ve politely asked for the officer to use the correct pronouns. It’s never okay to ask this way
