our history books were redirected to protect the south, especially the Asantis they partners with the British in the era of slavery which was capturing slaves from the upper Northern regions to salaga which was the biggest slave market in the country then transported with the protection of the Asantis from the north to coastal regions but they never taught that part but when the diapora black's they brand themselves like they were the once who were enslaved but majority of the slaves taken from this country were northerners
