I was looking up Child Protective laws in Colorado call this number 719-344-5523 and get a 30 min free consultation with Family/Children law. Ask them about Kayden’s Law it’s a law that is supposed to protect minors from their ab*sers in their household. Also ask about emancipation laws in Colorado. Hopefully things will get better 🙏🏽

Connect with the police department that is not connected to your step dad, ask to meet while not in the middle of a stressful situation. Go with notes, a timeline and any paper records of interactions with police, chiod protective services, hospital. Explain the situation thoroughly, including the issue with the other PD.

I have 2 teenage kids. You don't deserve this. In Colorado a 15 year old has the right to your own healthcare and your parents can't be told about it. Adams county has free mental healthcare for kids over 14 years old. These counselors have access to a lot of resources. You're meetings can be done over Zoom.

Can you call the original trooper? He seemed to care. Also, you can seek therapy in Colorado without parent consent. Reach out to a therapist so they can help document this and continue to report to child protective services. That can help build your case & start working on trauma.
