ok fair and i appreciate your response to my comment. i think it’s a lot of ebb and flow of trying to reframe your mindset after negative experiences! with my ex, i thought i followed the right steps but after 7 months his mask came off. BLAMED MY LOOKS for his ED issues and cheated on me with the girl he called me crazy over. traumatizing yes, but i told myself he’d probably gay and he did that to me bc he lacked confidence. i didnt date for 10 months after that. THEN. i went on a like 5 dates. guy was consistent good dates never had to guess then he DISAPPEARED. i’m recuperating

My strength is made perfect in your weakness, dating in this generation requires strength, detachment and gratefulness. It’s definitely easier said than done but we can’t stay stuck being pessimistic, we can’t get weary in doing work on ourselves and honestly we need to celebrate our small wins more like hey I didn’t stay as long this time, I didn’t over give this time, those are things we’ve learned from failed dating situations ❤️
