The book Haunting Adeline represents abuse and violence towards your loved one, 🍇 multiple times and teaches our younger generation this type of abuse in a relationship is tolerated if it’s your man. This book, soon movie, will make people think they loose their word “no” or “stop” in intimacy. As a 🍇 victim who lost their virginity at freshly 12 years old, because my boyfriend kept pushing me, pressuring me and saying “it’ll be quick”. He’d strangle me if I said no, with his forearm pressing against my throat. People find this hot. It is not. I am traumatized and do not wish it upon others, who will one day be pressured into intimacy by their partner, who thinks their “no” is invalid and thinks intimate violence is hot without consent, because that’s how it was in a movie, with a “couple” who in fact was a stalker and his victim, who begs SEVERAL times in the book to leave her alone! This book cannot become a movie as it is a future threat to everyone in our society, especially our younger generation. Why are we normalizing “no” not being for an answer when pushed into unwanted intimacy? I wish he took my no or stop, the days he’d choke me when I didn’t want intimacy.
