so the girl is crying and telling her story to the police and the police ask very few follow-up questions. he is intoxicated in his room and trying to explain to the police what happened and they are questioning everything he's saying. aren't the police supposed to act impartially? he is trying to explain a pattern of past violence and the police only care about what happened tonight without understanding everything
