One of the last few encounters I had with him was him being determined to let me know that I was replaceable and had been replaced. It really hurt and might be the reason I still haven’t fully let go🤷🏽♀️

I think I get stuck still because it feels like if I were to get told by them that they are sorry, it would feel more real to finally believe I didn’t deserve it even if l know deep down that I didn’t deserve it. Cuz without them feeling bad and validating my reality, there is a small voice of doubt that is their gaslighting bully voice (and the voices of their inner circle) in my head telling me “You are inferior and worthless and deserved the abuse, cheating and bullying” even though it makes no sense to believe their devaluating words. I stuck by them after they r-worded me, put hands on me etc and I stupidly still keep thinking “But you provoked him by being so upset with him for cheating. You should not have mouthed off so often. You also weren’t pretty so he cheated from the beginning. He is young and hot so what did you expect. You are not educated like him either. He can do better. You have no job. You are aging. You are beneath him.” So somehow it just feels freeing if he could say “I am sorry.” Idk. Hopefully I get over this.

Walked out a week before I had major surgery. 5 years married and 11 years with him. Not a word since he went 💔 broke my world apart and he doesn’t care, we didn’t even argue just went because I didn’t pick up his washing up off the floor 😞
