I use my tretinoin six days a week, Sunday nights is the night that I hydrate and sleep with a hydrating mask all night. And when I exfoliate two times a week, I do it in the morning. You don’t need to make everything so difficult by rotating and wondering what night it is. And my dermatologist, not aesthetician, dermatologist tells me to use tretinoin every single night.

I’m a tret user and I layer thinnest to thick. Toner and serum and extremely thin, so they go before the tret. Tretinoin is thick and you can feel it on your face after applying. The only thing I layer over it is moisturizer. Putting a serum or toner over the top of that I feel would be counterproductive.
