Crafted from solid gold and inlaid with semi-precious stones like lapis lazuli and colored glass, it depicts the young king wearing the Nemes headdress and the protective uraeus. This artistic miracle was discovered in 1925 inside the royal tomb (KV62) in the Valley of the Kings, Luxor, by British archaeologist Howard Carter.
