Once had a woman call me to tell me she didn’t understand how to do DocuSign, so I told she could come in to sign. She somehow managed to take a picture of her signature on a post it note and copy it into the signature field. To this day, I have no idea how she managed to do that. Obviously we couldn’t take it and she was perplexed 😂

When you ask for a SCANNED pdf copy because you can’t accept blurry shadowy photos of legal documents with their lunch in the background and they just turn that blurry photo into a pdf. THATS NOT WHAT I TOLD YOU TO DO MAURICE

Librarian here. I swear, 40% of my job is attempting to scan legal documents that look like they've been used as a napkin and fed to a dog to legal firms for patrons. This is painfully accurate.

Sending documents to customers can be just as bad. Once had a guy on the phone screaming because we sent him his insurance policy, and he was convinced we had also sent him his credit card statement and other personal documents of his. We were so confused until someone suggested he was just seeing the recent documents he opened when he opened the policy attachment. Sure enough, that was it. No apology from him of course.

once time i had someone fax me photo copies of like 20 pages of $100 bills as "proof of funds" and i had to make my manger call them to explain why that doesnt count because I was laughing too much

I deal with bank changes and we ask for voided check or a SIGNED bank letter. I can't tell you how many times I get a freaking bank statement that doesn't even have their info on it
