Local here. Stay on the east end. Make St Andrews State Park your go to. Stay at the Commodore if you can find an opening.

You should also remind people that hurricane season June to November. Water can be cloudy in the water may not be safe to get in.

I've been going for 20+ years and the Thomas Dr side is way better, less traffic, less overcrowding and St. Andrews Park is awesome.

I’ve been more than 50 times and my dad lived there for few years! She missing out on the best parts of PCB! I personally prefer Thomas drive (seychelles is our fav!) local restaurants! Yes u have to drive more to shop but it’s less crowded on the beach

Been going every year multiple times a year for 40 years, Thomas drive is most definitely the best place to stay. Much more low key. Less traffic and commotion.

We had our trip booked months in advance. And before we leave for the trip, we find out Bertha the storm is there. We risked it and went anyways. The first two days was windy and raining, nothing terrible. And then, after that, it was sunshine. What can you say that’s Florida weather?

anything around pier park is horrendous. i’ve lived here for 30 years. east end of the beach has some of the best food places and it’s where all the pontoon boats and every other excursion you can think of is at. i’d plan on booking air bnb as close to schooners last local beach club as possible. the better condos to stay at would imo be Grandview East, Marisol, Hidden Dunes, Seychelles, En Soleil, Gulf Crest, Sugar Beach
