@buzzingforhorror: Got my ass so bad 😭😭 One of the biggest reasons the Other Mommy trailer has horror fans talking is its final jump scare. After building tension with eerie silence and unsettling images of Jessica Chastain's twisted doppelgänger, the trailer ends with a sudden, in-your-face scare that has already caught plenty of viewers off guard. It is the kind of classic horror trailer ending that sticks with you long after it is over, and many people who first saw it before The Odyssey said it genuinely made them jump. Combined with Chastain's unnerving performance and Rob Savage's talent for creating suspense, the trailer has immediately put Other Mommy near the top of many horror fans' most anticipated lists for 2026.

LordTrophies :

It’s not scary but creepy and uncanny, which is arguably better than scary. Which is why people loved obsession and backrooms. Both weren’t scary but creepy and uncanny
