2,000 lb of ice in a ~500,000 gal wave pool only cools it by about 0.1°F. Math: Pool = ~4.17 million lb of water. Ice absorbs ~394,000 BTU (melting + warming). 394,000 ÷ 4,170,000 = 0.094°F drop. Tons of ice barely change a pool that big.
