Il occupa cette fonction du 10 juillet 1993 au 21 octobre 1993, date à laquelle il fut assassiné lors du coup d’État militaire sanglant qui coûta également la vie au Président Melchior Ndadaye. Dans cette vidéo, on voit également M. Jérôme Ndiho, ancien porte-parole du mouvement rebelle CNDD-FDD durant la période de la rébellion. Il est décédé le 7 janvier 2021 dans un accident de roulage. ENGLISH : These images, filmed in July 1993 (an excerpt from a documentary), show Mr. Richard Ndikumwami, former Director General of Documentation and Migration of Burundi (the current Intelligence Service). He held this position from July 10, 1993, until October 21, 1993, the date on which he was assassinated during the bloody military coup that also claimed the life of President Melchior Ndadaye. Standing beside him is Mr. Jérôme Ndiho, former spokesperson for the CNDD-FDD rebel movement during the rebellion period. He passed away on January 7, 2021, in a traffic accident.
