My dad has experienced with washer and dryers growing up and until know he always told us never use powder or beads on the machines because the machines get bad faster so it’s better to only use liquid.

I put my scent beads in first. They dissolve in cold water. I've never had any issues. 😁

As someone who only uses cold water and uses scent beads you do not need hot or warm water to achieve this. First put your detergent and scent beads and then your clothes and start your wash. The beads will dissolve and your clothes will smell amazing. My hubby gets compliments all the time and gets asked what he’s wearing and he says nothing it my wife does my laundry lol.
