i find most rain boots to be too heavy to walk in, especially the hunters. but i haven’t had water get in them from the top. i prefer waterproof sneakers.. i have the brand vessi.

Look up Sorel waterproof duck boots. I prefer them over typical rain boots. I still only wear them when it’s cold out though

I’ve owned 3 pairs and not one pair was comfortable! I only use them for yard work when it’s wet, but definitely couldn’t walk all around NYC in them!

I personally prefer my waterproof hiking boots. I wear them all winter walking my dogs. I live in Minnesota. I put Kleats on them for icy walks in the winter. I would need more insulation if walking for longer periods of time but half an hour walk they work. they lace at the top so no big hole at the top.

My house flooded over the roof in that 2016 flood in Louisiana 😩 lost errrrthanggg & I was 5 months pregnant.. sorry I have I have PTSD & that triggered it 😩😩😩

I love my Hunter rainboots. I’ve had them for 15 years and they’re amazing. Never needed to do anything to them and used them in all the rain today.

Girl go get rain boots! No you don't get rain in them, you can get ones that don't have that. Usually the tall ones if they have that extra room, puddles wouldn't be that deep you typically would walk through. You can find some ok cute girl ones or have fun, get cute print ones! Dogs, ducks etc or decked out in colors. They are suppose to be fun, though there are plain solid colors. You can possibly put inserts to help with comfort walking. Heels aren't comfortable in the long run and for walking but most be wearing them anyway and hurting feet at the end of the day. Plus take regular shoes with you, swap them over won't be trucking in them all day
