Addressing the media after the NPP’s press conference, Chairman Buga Buga delivered a strongly worded response to the court’s judgment involving Chairman Wontumi. He argued that the developments should serve as a lesson for the New Patriotic Party, claiming that when the NPP was in government, it had opportunities to prosecute members of the NDC but chose not to do so out of sympathy. He further alleged that the current administration is now showing its “true colours” by targeting NPP members and stated that, if the NPP returns to power, it would respond in the same manner.
