They got outshined by other entry level designer brands as time passed. They got lucky there was little to no competition at that time, when men’s fashion was transitioning out of sneakers and streetwear.

I think the brand suffered from lack of innovation and relied too heavily on those silhouettes. Due to their popularity, they also heavily increased their RRP which I think also killed them, I remember the lows going from around £250 to nearly £400 in a couple of years… With that, it opened the door to many fashion houses and footwear brands such as Axel Arigato able to offer the same silhouettes at a much more digestible price point
