Because of the 90s Satanic Panic, demonization of entertainment, and the disrespect and dilution of animation in the West. Despite God sending man symbolic dreams, and Jesus speaking in parable, Christians don't like nuanced narratives and storytelling; you have to spoil the story, explain the subtext to them, and paint everything in black and white or else they'll call your show demonic or glorifying sin. — For the past 2 years I've been trying to grow my skills in animation and develop a science fantasy series with allegorical-biblical themes.
