I grew up the next town over from Croswell. That entire area of the thumb is haunted. A large wildfire went through the area in the 1800’s. People tried to flee to Black River, but many perished before they could reach it

I always thinking about the Lake Michigan ufo story. I’m from Michigan but had a crazy thing happen when I was driving in Southern California late at night last year. I saw what looked to be a small aircraft on the right side of me and I screamed “holy sht they’re about the crash!” Then it just disappeared before it hit the ground! My daughter saw it but my son and husband were half asleep. My husband is convinced it was just a drone, but where tf did it go!?

I’m not claiming these two things are related, but I grew up in a town that is one of the 3 corners of the “Lake Michigan Triangle”. Until VERY RECENTLY (like within the last 10 years) our tornado warning siren went off TWICE A DAY, EVERY DAY, YEAR ROUND.

I live in Croswell. We got a sketchy siren. It does go off at times. Some people think its various things. If she says this happened? Believe her. Especially if you're on the bridge at night over the river. They have cars in that river.

One of my ghost stories happened in Croswell. My roommate was gone for the weekend, and I was home with the dogs. I had went out to work, and when I got home I beelined it for the bathroom before letting them out. When I was in the bathroom I kept talking to the dogs, telling them I would be right there and I would soon let them out. Someone on the other side of the door asked “who are you talking to?”. Like I said, I was home alone, all doors and windows were shut. I didn’t answer, and just sat there in the bathroom for a few more minutes, frozen.

10 minutes from Croswell…. And I’ve done some diving on the lakes, to recover boats that have sunk(if possible). And I can tell you it can be a sunny as possible day and at between 10 and 15 feet it goes so black you can see your hand on your mask. 900 lumin light gives you a late dusk feel… and one of the worst experiences I’ve had is finding bodies. And that haunts till this day.
