how does putting the baby into a home of people who are choosing to care for it vs a home where at least one person absolutely does not want to care for it causing the baby to "unnecessarily suffer"? the child would likely have an amazing, well loved life in an adoption. the wife will have to choose which suffering she wants to endure, the one where she doesnt get to see her baby grow up, or the one where the baby is a constant reminder of her own infidelity and the reason her marriage dissolved. there is no good answer.

Isn’t infidelity like the only reason Christian’s are allowed to divorce? I know the rules are extremely strict (no divorce for abuse for example) but cheating is where the church draws the line.

see to me I'd end everything. me and my son's mom were going to get married but due to a lack of trying to further herself in life I called of the wedding but not the relationship she then chose to do things with someone else I told her I was worried about and so I chose to end it then and there and told her the love I had was gone
