And here lies the problem.... Using MMR as the main metric for skill (and thus match fairness/probably outcome) is NOT appropriate. In a game as complex as League, it's FAR too easy to get carried into a rank that you don't belong in. 'Challenger' players have gotten stuck in low ELO. Meanwhile some low ELO players can absolutely dunk on 'high ELO' players, mechanically. Many high rank players and coaches have stated that support is DEFINITELY an ELO inflated role, and that a majority of players that are hardstuck gold as non-support main could easily get to emerald/diamond or even masters if they played support, but not the other way around. I'm not gonna pretend I know how to circumvent this problem, but I know that there definitely is a solution.

The way he explains it means they will always cook u with teamates way below your MMR to cook it like it’s a coin flip of who wins. The game assumes u will carry the game meaning you going 10-0-10 is a part of the coin flip calculation and u still might lose

He worded it wrong the system tried to make it as even as possible but there will always be a team that’s favoured over the other by ~2% that’s why some games you gain a more LP than others

I individually checked team's match histories, ranks, duos, primary roles. the losing team has multiple people on a losing streak, winning team has multiple people on winning streak, lower ranks, auto fills mostly on losing team. and it happens multiple games in a row. It's Loser's queue plain and simple. but also, on the other side, you also have winner's queue. so it's not 50 50 in 1 game generelly, however, it's 50 50 if you count like 40 games. also yes, you could have 50 50 games here and there and have quality games here and there as well.
