I'm happy that my parents never held that over my head, they fully knew it was their responsibility to do it and I understand that they're doing it for me and I appreciate them for it.

I believe it’s generational trauma they were deprived of basic necessities or witnessed such and to try and make the children appreciate everything they made it seem as if it was the best they could do or they doing more than others.

I’m 19, my sister is almost 30. My mom still does this to both of us. She says it’s disrespectful to tell her that we didn’t wish to be born. She once unironically said her pregnancies were caused by God 😭😭😭 oh yeah im fatherless btw so my father definitely wasn’t God
