I’m taking telmisartan. It’s an ARB. IM ON 60mg. I started at 40mg. And it initially lowered it by about 20 or so points. Then I upped my meds to 60 mg. It lowered it about another 20 or so. Then I didn’t want to go much higher for concern of my kidneys. I’m stage 3. So when I talked to my doctor about Coq10 he said it was ok to take. I also added in a complex magnesium pill. 2 a day. With the Coq10 and my bp meds. It amazingly dropped my bp another 20 or so. I’m now at a low of about 165/90. Which is great considering what I started at. Which was about 250/160. Roughly. I I Had that for many years. The high bp. I’m happy with the numbers I get now. They go higher sometimes. But that’s prob because I’m coming close to my next dosage. But read up on magnesium complex pills. 💊. And speak to your doctor about Coq10 or any other things you want too take. He wanted me to up my dosage to 80mg. I told him no. I’m trying to balance things out so my kidneys aren’t stressed so much.
