I honestly think that the whole “larping” thing is so stupid. The world cup is a global tournament, you get to watch people that represent your country on the global stage. It’s similar to the olympics yet you don’t see people get mad at casual watchers for not knowing the ins and outs of curling. I think it’s fine to be a casual enjoyer of things. I also think that people are constantly looking to feel better than other people but that just makes everyone more miserable. If you don’t like a certain part of a fanbase, save yourself the stress and don’t interact with it.
