When I was a cop my most satisfying stops were bikes that were illegally lane splitting/filtering. I literally wrote hundreds of tickets for it.

Motorcyclists can argue all you want I used to ride motorcycles and I would never consider lane splitting, because it is obviously dangerous.

You’re breaking the law. Moving between lanes of flowing or active traffic is illegal in almost every state. California is the sole exception where it is widely permitted under specific safety guidelines (such as keeping speeds under 30–50 mph and a low speed differential
