@musliminvesting: K is for Key Risk Indicator. A key risk indicator is a measurable sign that a business or investment may be heading into trouble. Think of it as an early warning signal before bigger problems show up. This could include rising debt, declining revenue, unstable profits, or a company relying too heavily on one product or market. From a halal perspective, it could also include increasing exposure to non-halal income or debt levels that may affect Shariah compliance. Because investing is not just about asking: “Is this company halal?” You also need to ask: “Is this business financially healthy and sustainable?” A halal investment with serious warning signs can still be a poor investment. Halal compliance + risk awareness = smarter investing. Part 11 of the A–Z: Finance Terms You Need to Know series. Follow along for the next letter 📉
