I know for one thing you guys didn't read Arthur's tale.. caliburn was shattered to fragments and then Merlin took the helt of the sword and went to the lady of the lake he asked for a new blade and now they have Excalibur..I just summarize the story anyways that's how it is Excalibur is sword of ancient..but the one you seek of isn't the same.. it's like divine construct.. holy sword

Gilgamesh's Gates of Babylon not exactly take the original Noble Phantasms, just theier prototypes. So no, it wasn't Excalibur and Calliburn, only the prototypes. It fits for every Noble Phantasm existent.
