u should try two french braids in the back not like pigtails but like two rows to the back so its less heavy and it will try quicker and hold more secure since ur braiding from the root

As someone with similar hair, you want to braid it, wrap it as flat as possible, and use like 6-8 spiral twist pins. I promise it works.
